What To Do During COVID-19 Response

Distance Learning continues at PISD: Find resources for students and guardians at the Pasadena ISD Distance Learning website. Xfinity now allows free access to all its wifi hotspots; find the nearest hotspots at For information about which online tools to use for various subject areas, go to Student Notice of Distance Learning.docx.

Drive-Up Breakfast and Lunch Distribution: Families can pick up three days of meals on Mondays, four days of meals on Thursdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Houston HS campus. 

Tech Support for Computer Devices Issued to Students:  There is now a Student Online Help Desk to help solve problems with PISD-issued technology.  Alternatively, families can go to the device service center at the Carmen Orozco Professional Development Complex at 1832 East Sam Houston Pkwy. S., Pasadena, TX, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, from from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Guardians and students will stay in their vehicles, and a technician will come to them.

Congratulations to 2019-20 Hall of Honor Inductees!

South Houston High School inducted two former teachers and three former students into its Hall of Honor, and the Alumni Association announced its Ainsworth Award winner, during Homecoming. Teachers include Jannettes director Glenda Jones and NJROTC instructor Cecil Dinwiddie. Alumni include Sheila Wilson Beckett (class of 1970), Allen Fowler (class of 1980) and Vaughligan Walwyn (class of 1999). This year's Ainsworth Award winner is Diane Phelan. To visit the Hall of Honor display in E-Hall, contact the front office for details. 

We Have a Campus Museum

Our campus has the only on-campus museum room in Pasadena ISD. The Hall of History showcases photos, yearbooks, newspapers and keepsakes from students and staff that span the schools 60-year history. Come on by to take a look; call the front office for details.

Parents and Students,

Pasadena ISD is now using a new online student information system called Skyward Family Access, which allows parents, guardians and students to view and manage various information, including a students’ attendance records, calendars, graduation plans/requirements, schedules, gradebooks, online assignments, grading and report cards.
